Then I just ask for a cup of hot water. I fill one at home, fold over the long end and temporarily secure it with a paper clip, place it in a small plastic bag and put it in my purse. At least that is how I THINK you are supposed to do it. I recently discovered I prefer tea to coffee and prefer the loose teas best (Teavana). I certainly was not going to take a tea strainer or tea ball to a friend's house or restaurant, and this tea filter that I can fill myself was the perfect answer. There were no instructions and it took me a bit to figure out you do not really seal the tea bag - you place it in your cup and drape the long end over the edge of the cup - (having the long end wet from the water helps it cling).
But these bags are perfect. Plus, if you don't like super-strong tea, you can customize how much tea goes into the bag. I've always been grossed out by loose tea based on the "floaties" that regular infusers always seem to leave behind. They're very easy to use, and don't require heat-sealing like a lot of other make-your-own bags do.
really genuis, what a great invention. just love these tea bags, I can now have full flavored tea, on the go, no mess, no fuss, easy. highly recommend for anyone who loves tea and is intimidated by full leaf.
Ridiculous to have to go this far for this product, but item was delivered promptly and priced well. Had to pay shipping equal to the product, unfortunately.
These are excellent tea bags and will serve well. Would love to find some a size smaller for chamomile tea.
